Lure color has always had a factor to the rate, but it's not as noticeable now with the fish spawning rates. There isn't a coolour formula that the fish react too just to the lure itself To me that straw poll showed exactly what we already know.
Someone did a mini test with same lure diffrent coulour and I think top of my head figures 17-18-19 and the poster said that that was proof that cetain lurecolour was better. I think on a thread somewhere although take it with a pinch of salt. Personal choice and what you feel better using. Its pretty bad whehn people are more concerned with how much $ and EXP fish will give them based on what they are using than they are about the quality of the fishing itself.Originally posted by sirkipalot:Colour has no bearing on lures. Which it shouldn't tell you exactly what to use for each species. There are balanced ones, then there are better set ups. So far, I haven't seen one go green, but then again, I'm not using underpowered setups to see which I can push the limits with, which could give me more benefits. I've experimented in some of my own and with the new changes, if my set up is too OP - even though I like to use it for its resilience and sensitivity - I'm given less XP/money than I deserve.
